"The Long Struggle: Presidential Actions and African American Civil Rights”

This exhibit demonstrated how presidential decisions impacted the everyday lives of African-Americans and covered the 100 years from Abraham Lincoln to Lyndon Johnson.  The highlight of this exhibit was NARA ’s copy of the Emancipation Proclamation that was on display.
